We have been in the accommodation industry in Dubbo since 1985 after coming here from Caloundra on the Queensland Sunshine Coast to manage a motel.  We have worked side by side for most of our married life starting out as a husband and wife team managing cattle stations in Central and North Queensland.

It didn’t take us long to realise we enjoyed the hospitality industry and soon looked for an opportunity to work for ourselves.

Country Apartments was born from a dream to offer customers “more than a motel room” with a combination of spacious gardens and a quiet country charm to delight all who pass our way.

The best Relief Managers

When we are away from Country Apartments Pauline and John are our Relief Managers. This delightful couple have been with us for over 6 years and they truly treat the property and guests as if the business was theirs.Pauline lives onsite 24 hours and John comes in daily from their farm to carryout maintenance and service the pool in season. Pauline and John give us the opportunity to have a break without any worries. We are very grateful and are sure you will enjoy meeting them too.

Superior Housekeeping

We have always maintained the housekeepers are the most important people in a hospitality business. The accommodation we provide to our guests is prepared daily by these dedicated staff members. We can not physically check every apartment every day so we count on them to maintain the high standards we require. They are prepared to be judged by the guests as they sign a welcome letter each day confirming they have prepared the apartment.
Sue is our most senior housekeeper and is now in her 8th year at Country Apartments. Connie is only new but has filled a big gap following the retirement of other long serving staff members.
